Spacewalks Scheduled for November 15, 2019 – Watch Live

Several astronauts are set for a series of complex spacewalks outside the International Space Station to repair the Alpha Magnetic Spectrometer (AMS) that detects cosmic rays.

The spacewalk for the AMS repairs will be done by Commander Luca Parmitano of ESA (European Space Agency) and NASA’s Engineer Andrew Morgon. The AMS upgraded cooling system is expected to work through the lifetime of the space station.
